Queensland Drilling Services is a family owned and operated company, which invests in our local communities and the sustainability of our environment for future generations. We have drilled and worked extensively with the GABSI (Great Artesian Bore Sustainability Initiative) an Australian Government Department of the Environmental, Water, Heritage and Arts initiative. GABSI main aim is to control the flow from bores and open earth bore drains in the Great Artesian Basin that threatens the health of important groundwater dependant ecosystems and continued access to artesian water by pastoralists.
Our environmental impact for mobilisation, drilling and demobilisation to site is as close to zero as possible with our policy being "Nothing being left at site by the drill pipe (underground) and bore pump (if applicable)". The ground water ecosystem and quality is guaranteed with zero contamination as we drill with cementing and sealing being continuous.

We respect all social and cultural native title and native land owners (Aboriginal) claims with David Allie (Queensland Council of Elders, consultant International Collaborations for Premier and Cabinet, Queensland) negotiating all aspects with respect to sacred grounds, environmental impact and the restoration of drilling sites to pre-drilling conditions.
Our resources within Queensland Drilling Services are extensive to say the least and include a large fully equipped workshop, which serves to repair and maintain all of the Queensland Drilling Services equipment. Queensland Drilling Services employs a boilermaker, painters, mechanics and fitters who are available to be sent anywhere that Queensland Drilling Services equipment may require repairs of maintenance.
Our rigs employ highly experienced rig hands that we source from local communities across Queensland, New South Wales, South Australia and even Perth. Queensland Drilling Services have a strong emphasis on supporting the local communities. Employing locals from the small towns while we drill and we like to source from the local suppliers for our materials and supplies onsite.
