Queensland Drilling Services has completed a multitude of Water Wells throughout Queensland and New South Wales, and in recent times the company has expanded into exploration drilling for the mining sector.

Mt Gason Bore at Clifton Hills in South Australia.
This bore went to a depth of 1500 mtrs and is believed to be one of the deepest artesian bores drilled in Australia. The flow from this bore was 14,000,000 litres per day. The challenges involved in such a large project were met with enthusiasm by the company and the results were very pleasing to all parties.
Toowoomba City Council
QDS was engaged to drill test and production bores for the supply of water to the City of Toowoomba. The production bore was for 28” diameter casing to a depth of 650 mtrs. Specialty equipment had to be brought into complete this particular bore with the diameter requested for 28”, the normal diameter is 18”.
Department of Natural Resources and Mines.
QDS has continually supported the Department of Natural resources under their Great Artesian Basin Subsidy Initiative (GABSI) program in the developing and decommissioning of bores throughout Queensland.
Xstrata Coal
QDS is supporting Xstrata Coal at their Oakey No1 Coal mine Teiri, with mineral exploration and establishing piezzo holes.
Oxiana - Prminent Hills Mine South Australia
Establishing 8 water producing bores to support mining operations. A number of the bores requires 20" surface casing with 12" production casings down to 500 metres.
Waratah Coal
QDS recently formed an agreement to assist Waratah Coal mineral exploration in the Galilee Basin.
S.A Water
QDS were contracted to drill a series of water
producing bores in the APY Lands, some of the most remote and
unforgiving terrain in Australia. These bores are the lifeblood of
the Indigenous communities living within these areas.
Arrow Energy
QDS have over the last 12 months drilled and
constructed a number of vertical Frac and production wells for Arrow
Energy Limited and their Joint Venture partners in the Central
Highlands Coalfields. . With clean energy being the way of the
future, QDS have adapted
their operations to become an industry front runner in the supply of
this invaluable service.
